With significant reliance on technology to support their broad educational mission, the U.S. Army United States Sergeant’s Majors Academy (USASMA) tasked OnPoint to provide experts to resolve technical and customer-service issues focused on preventing network outages and the loss or corruption of data stored on the servers. Being that USASMA is a high priority establishment and a potential target for cyber-attack, security was maintained through various methods on the switch. The Network Enterprise Center (NEC) implemented policy and procedure that the network administrator followed.
The OnPoint team maintained and serviced the network at Fort Bliss Campus Area Network located on East Fort Bliss within the USASMA and the Non-Commissioned Officer Academy (NCOA) on West Fort Bliss, Texas. The services were delivered to thousands of users, to include USASMA staff, faculty and students, as well as the NCOA, Basic Leader Course (BLC), and the Heritage Museum.
